Herman Duarte is the founder and managing director of Simple Legal Consulting, the firm behind Plan B Costa Rica. He has practiced immigration and investment law for more than twelve years, and he takes the first call himself.
He holds a master's degree from Stockholm University and another from the London School of Economics, where he studied as a Chevening Scholar. He has published two books and more than 200 articles, and the Costa Rica Bar Association has invited him to lecture on the legal and sociological side of the Digital Nomad Visa.
